Woodard Nursery is a family owned and operated company founded in 1971 by Roger Woodard.  In the early days, Woodard Nursery primarily served Cordele and the surrounding areas doing simple residential landscaping. However, from the very beginning, Woodard Nursery was focused on delivering quality landscaping and exceptional service. Our goal was to build a reputation based on high quality workmanship, value and timeliness. Woodard Nursery quickly evolved and we expanded our business working all around the state, taking on not only residential, but commercial and industrial landscaping as well.

Joel Woodard, Roger Woodard's son, began following in his father's footsteps at the tender age of seven years old. Joel Woodard took over the family business after his father's retirement, and has continued the tradition of providing the same high quality standards. Todd Helms, Joel Woodard's cousin and Roger Woodard's nephew, has also worked in the business for more than fifteen years. Together the Woodard Family has worked hard to grow, expand, and technologically advance the company. "We're truly Growing Into the Future!"
